Attribution

Attribution answers: “Which channel gets credit for this conversion?” You define the conversion (a page or event), pick a model, and we attribute it to referrer, UTM, or paid source.

Attribution models

  • First-click — The first touch (visit or click) before the conversion gets 100% of the credit.
  • Last-click — The last touch right before the conversion gets 100% of the credit.

What you set

  • Model (required) — First-click or Last-click.
  • Type (required) — Whether the conversion is a Viewed page or Triggered event.
  • Conversion step (required) — The exact URL (e.g. /pricing) or event name (e.g. checkout-cart).

Running the report

Choose the model, the type (page vs. event), and the conversion. The report will show attributed traffic and conversions by source, medium, campaign, and similar.
