Breakdown

Breakdown slices your data by a dimension—path, referrer, UTM, device, etc.—and shows the metrics that matter for each slice. You can combine it with filters to focus on a subset.

Metrics you can break down include:

  • Visitors, Visits, Views
  • Bounce rate, Visit duration

Options

Fields — The dimension to group by. Path is the default; you can also use referrer, UTM, browser, device, country, and other fields the tracker collects.

Add filters if you only want to break down a slice of traffic (e.g. one campaign or one country).

Running it

Pick the field (and any filters), run the report, and you’ll get a table of each value with its counts and rates.
